Work and Energy

Work and energy for AQA GCSE Physics (9-1) and Combined Science (9-1)

Notes

  • Doing mechanical work on an object causes changes in the stores of energy.
  • If a force moves an object, then the work done is calculated using:
  • Work done (J) = force (N) x distance movedĀ  (m)
  • The work done is the same value as the energy transferred.
