I am an enthusiastic and experienced teacher, with an excellent track record teaching IB Physics, A-level Physics and GCSE Physics spanning 26 years. As a physics tutor, I have helped many students improve their grades.
My style is to be supportive and encouraging. I use questioning to identify problem areas, explanations to deepen understanding and question practice to improve exam technique.
I mainly offer lessons to IB Physics and A-level Physics students, but can also tutor GCSE Physics and IGCE Physics.
Lessons are online, since this allows me to work with you wherever you are based, and is more flexible and convenient for students. I am based in Sheffield, UK, but you can be anywhere!
All you need is a tablet or a laptop with an internet connection. We will use Zoom for the lessons, with interactivity through screen sharing and whiteboard.
My rate for online sessions is £85/hour. Payment for the first lesson is not until after the lesson, which reduces the risk for you.
